The beat of my own drum

If the world is a mere stage, then we would be like the painting in the backdrop. We would witness the entire play without flinching, try to beautify each ‘act’ with our hues and colours and most importantly we would always be there at the end whether there is a roaring applause or an egg-fest (or tomato-fest if you prefer). None of us harbour ambitions of playing the lead role on a stage. May be it is because we are all idiots and purposelessness seems to be our only purpose.
